Multilayers based on cationic nanocomplexes for co-delivery of doxorubicin and DNA

- Multilayers are fabricated through layer-by-layer assembly of the nanocomplexes.
- Doxorubicin release is triggered by oxidation of ferrocene.
- Cells are transfected by the multilayers through the substrate-mediated mode.
