Combustion kinetics of cyclooctane and its binary mixture with o-xylene over a Pt/γ-alumina catalyst

- Combustion of cyclooctane, o-xylene and their binary mixtures was investigated.
- The used catalyst was Pt/γ-Al2O3 and the conditions typical for depollution applications.
- Kinetic models were developed to describe the investigated combustion processes.
- Reliability of the kinetic models was proved for both pure components and their mixture.
