Composite proton conducting membranes based on Nafion and sulfonated SiO2 nanoparticles

▸ Sulfonated SiO2 nanoparticles with uniform core-shell structure were synthesized. ▸An addition of SiO2 nanoparticle was very effective to improve the cell performance. ▸ The composite membrane exhibited better cell performance than that of Nafion.
