A novel atmospheric dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma graft-filling technique to fabricate the composite membranes for pervaporation of aromatic/aliphatic hydrocarbons

► A double-plasma grafting strategy for “pore-filling” composite membrane preparation. ► The grafting is initiated by atmospheric DBD plasma. ► For toluene/n-heptane, membrane with flux of 1.62 kg/m2 h, α of 7.8 is obtained.
