The influence of spray inclination angle on the ultra fast cooling of steel plate in spray cooling condition
چکیده انگلیسی
The ultra fast cooling of steel plate of 10 mm in thickness direction was experimentally investigated under spray cooling condition, and the spray inclination angle ranges from 0° to 60°. The transient heat flux density and temperature field in the plate surface were established with inverse heat conduction method based on the measured temperature of plate. The results indicated that the spray inclination angle affects the cooling rate of plate by changing the area of spray injection zone, flow density, flow velocity, etc. The average cooling rate and heat flux density reach the maximum when spray inclination angle is 30°, which are 146.5 °C/s and 2.75 MW/m2, and improve by around 22.1% and 11% compared with those when spray angle is 0°.
