Particle image velocimetry measurement on the oscillatory flow at the end of the thermoacoustic parallel stacks

► The oscillatory flow at the end of the stacks is visualized by PIV measurement. ► The influences of the resonator length on the ejection vortices are revealed. ► Large KC number is preferred to improve the performance of the engine. ► Large resonator length and the relative position of the stacks are preferred.
