Selection of fungi for accelerated decay in stumps of Eucalyptus spp.

► Biological system for stump removal of Eucalyptus spp. was developed. ► Fungus Ganoderma applanatum and Pycnoporus sanguineus deteriorates stumps and roots. ► Humidity chamber system enables increase of biological degradation of stumps. ► Selected fungi do not possess pathogenic potential.
