Isolation and characterization of hemicelluloses extracted by hydrothermal pretreatment

► Hemicelluloses were extracted using DMF by hydrothermal method. ► Hemicelluloses were mainly composed of (1 → 4)-linked α-d-glucan. ► Linear hemicelluloses showed more thermal stability.
