High-sensitivity detection of silver ions using oligonucleotide-immobilized oscillator

► We sensitively detected the silver ions one of the most hazardous metal pollutants. ► We used DNA-Metal interaction (Cytosine-Ag+-Cytosine) to capture the silver ion. ► The silver-specific nucleotide-coated oscillator shows the high performance for capturing of silver ion. ► This sensing mechanism shows the potential of detection of the nano-toxic material in real environmental sample.
