Monitoring alcohol concentration and residual glucose in solid state fermentation of ethanol using FT-NIR spectroscopy and L1-PLS regression

This study aim to verify the feasibility of building an enhanced and reliable reduced-spectrum model for monitoring of the alcohol concentration and residual glucose in SSF of ethanol. L1-norm regularization variable selection method was adopted to select wavelength variables from full-spectrum.
