Catalytic degradation of methylene blue using biosynthesized gold and silver nanoparticles

- Stable silver and Gold nanoparticles are obtained using an AyurvedicKashayam.
- The method is simple, economic, efficient and nontoxic.
- The crystallinity of the silver and gold nanoparticles is shown by the XRD and SAED patterns.
- The synthesized silver and gold nanoparticles show size dependent catalytic activity.
