Study of hydrogen production system by using PV solar energy and PEM electrolyser in Algeria

► A mathematical model of hydrogen production system, including PV module and PEM electrolyser is presented. ► The hourly solar radiation on a tilted plane is reproduced. ► The simulation results of hourly hydrogen production for 7 sites of Algeria are presented. ► Comparison of system performance in terms of hydrogen production at seven locations of Algeria is given as results.
