Developing cross-linked poly(ethylene oxide) membrane by the novel reaction system for H2 purification

► A “green” approach was developed for fabricating cross-linked PEO membranes. ► Cross-linked PEO membranes can be used for H2 purification and CO2 capture. ► The crystallization in PEO was architecturally restrained by cross-linking. ► The novel membrane had good gas permeability and selectivity. ► CO2 plasticization in cross-linked membrane was investigated in detail.
