Roles of Pb and MnOx in PtPb/MnOx-CNTs catalyst for methanol electro-oxidation

▶ Microwave was used to synthesize a novel PtPb/MnOx-CNTs catalyst. ▶ The different roles of Pb and MnOx were revealed in this work. ▶ The forward peak current of PtPb/MnOx-CNTs towards methanol oxidation was over 3 times higher than that of Pt/CNTs. ▶ Prominent advantage was excellent anti-poisoning ability.
