Effect of agglomeration/defluidization on hydrogen generation during fluidized bed air gasification of modified biomass

► Agglomeration affects not only the fluidization itself but also product distribution. ► The surface temperature of sand bed increases when the system reaches defluidization. ► The selectivity of H2 and CO increases as agglomeration begins, but CO2 decreases. ► Emission concentration of CH4 does not be influenced by agglomeration. ► When defluidization occurs, LHV sharply increases due to increasing of temperature.
