Hydrogen sensing characteristics of Pt/TiO2/MWCNTs composites

► Pt/TiO2/MWCNTs composites were synthesized by a simple sol-gel method. ► Their electrical and H2 sensing characteristics were investigated. ► Pt/TiO2/MWCNTs composite films were sensitive to H2 in nitrogen even at RT. ► A “spill-over” mechanism has been proposed to explain the hydrogen sensing on these sensors.
