This paper endeavors to complete a numerical analysis for heat transfer in pseudo-plastic non-Newtonian fluids aligned with a semi-infinite plate by extending the study in two directions. On one hand, viscous dissipation are included in the energy equation, and on the other hand, unlike most classical works, the effects of power-law viscosity on temperature field are taken into account by assuming that the thermal diffusivity varies as a function of velocity gradient. The solutions are presented numerically by using the similarity transformation and shooting technique. The associated transfer characteristics are discussed in some domains of parameters, including the power-law index nn, the generalized Prandtl number NPrNPr and the Zheng number ZHZH.
