Design and synthesis of palladium/graphitic carbon nitride/carbon black hybrids as high-performance catalysts for formic acid and methanol electrooxidation

A facile two-step method is developed to highly disperse Pd nanoparticles on g-C3N4-modified carbon black support. The as-obtained Pd/g-C3N4/carbon black hybrid exhibits excellent and multifunctional electrocatalytic performance for formic acid and methanol oxidation, far outperforming the commercial Pd-C catalyst.314
