A closed loop process for recycling spent lithium ion batteries

110There are many common Li-ion battery chemistries. The proposed recycling process can recycle Li-ion batteries regardless of cathode composition and the products from this recycling process can be used to make new LiNixMnyCozO2 cathodes with differing Ni, Mn and Co concentrations.
