One dimensional La0.8Sr0.2Co0.2Fe0.8O3−δ/Ce0.8Gd0.2O1.9 nanocomposite cathodes for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells

► The LSCF nanorods have been synthesized using an electrospinning method. ► Nanorod structured LSCF/GDC cathode was fabricated by an infiltration process. ► The obtained LSCF/GDC cathode has larger LSCF/GDC boundaries and higher porosity. ► The LSCF/GDC cathode has the lowest polarization resistance of 0.1 Ω cm2 at 650°C.
