A robust fuel cell cathode catalyst assembled with nitrogen-doped carbon nanohorn and platinum nanoclusters

▸ Pt/NSWCNH is assembled with Pt nanocluster and nitrogen-doped carbon nanohorns. ▸ Most of Pt nanoparticles are dispersed in the conductive nano-nets formed by NSWCNHs. ▸ Pt/NSWCNH shows higher durability and catalytic activity for ORR than commercial Pt/C. ▸ Pt in Pt/NSWCNH is more stable against particle size growth than that in Pt/C.
