Novel structured electrolytes for solid oxide fuel cells

► Novel designed intermediate temperature SOFC electrolytes based on ScCeSZ. ► 40% thin electrolyte in the active region is achieved. ► Improved cell performances are obtained from all cells fabricated. ► Grate type electrolytes can be used to lower the operation temperature as well.
