Iron tetrasulfophthalocyanine functionalized graphene as a platinum-free cathodic catalyst for efficient oxygen reduction in microbial fuel cells

► FeTsPc modified graphene (FeTsPc-graphene) is successfully synthesized. ► The method used here can prevent the aggregation of graphene. ► FeTsPc-graphene can be a good alternative to Pt for oxygen reduction reaction. ► It has great potential in application of microbial fuel cells.
