Epitaxial films of the proton-conducting Ca-doped LaNbO4 material and a study of their charge transport properties

► Ca-doped LaNbO4 proton conductor thin films are deposited by PLD. ► Thin film conductivity in O2 is 3-4 order of magnitudes higher than in bulk LCNO. ► There is no measurable protonic transport in wet oxygen atmosphere. ► There is a possible interface contribution to the total conductivity.
