Crystalline and solution chemistry of tetrameric and dimeric molybdenum(VI) citrato complexes

Transformations among monomeric, dimeric and tetrameric citrato molybdates were studied in solid and solution. The solution pH, reactant molar ratio and counterion emerged as the controlling factor of structural variation.
