Synthesis and structure of mononuclear Cu(II) complexes containing bis(1-methylimidazol-2-yl)ketone ligands

Two mononuclear copper(II) compounds with derivatives of Bis(1-methylimidazol-2-yl)ketone (BIK) were synthesized and structurally characterized by various techniques such as X-ray crystallography, IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and elemental analysis and thermogravimetric analysis.
