Synthesis, structures and magnetic properties of new Fe(II) and Co(II) thiocyanato coordination compounds with 2-chloropyrazine as Co-ligand

Reaction of Fe(II) and Co(II) thiocyanate with 2-chloropyrazine leas to the formation of five new coordination polymers that were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Magnetic measurements shows that dependent on the crystal structure and the metal cation Curie-Weiss paramagnetism, metamagnetism or antiferromagnetism is observed.
