A new palladium(II)-allyl complex containing a thioether-triazole ligand as active catalyst in Suzuki-Miyaura reaction. Use of tetraalkylammonium salts as promoters: Influence of the salt anion and cation on the catalytic activity

A new palladium allyl complex with a thioether-triazole ligand is a precatalyst for S-M reaction. Employing tetraalkylammonium salts as promoters, reasonably good reaction rates are obtained in the coupling of aryl chlorides with phenylboronic acid. The reaction rate is determined by salt composition, a systematic study highlights the role played by salt cation and anion.
