Synthesis, crystal structure and thermal behaviors of 2,3-dihydro-4-nitro-3-(dinitromethylene)-1H-pyrazol-5-amine potassium salt [K(NNMPA)]

Coordination environment of K+ ion in K(NNMPA). One K+ ion is connected with five adjacent NNMPA− anions through seven K-O coordination bonds and one K-N coordination bond, forming a distorted dodecahedron structure with K+ ion being coordination center.
