Two new compounds constructed from polyoxoanions, metal ions and organic ligands

Two new compounds, [Cu4(4,4′-bpy)4][SiW12O40]·6H2O (1) and [Cu2(4,4′-bpy)2][SiMo12O40]·(H24,4′-bpy) (2) (bpy = bipyridine), have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized. Crystal diffraction analyses reveal that the two compounds represent two new examples of compounds constructed from polyoxoanions, metal ions and organic ligands.
