Investigating the target organs of novel anti-diabetic zinc complexes with organo‑selenium ligands

The organ distribution of bis(3-hydroxy-2-methyl-4(H)-pyran-4-seleno)Zn ([Zn(hmps)2]) in mice after oral administration was evaluated by simultaneous determination of both Zn and Se concentrations using ICP-MS.
