Synergistic effect of copper and arsenic upon oxidative stress, inflammation and autophagy alterations in brain tissues of Gallus gallus

Chickens were divided into four groups treated with 30 mg/kg arsenic trioxide (As2O3) or/and 300 mg/kg copper sulfate (CuSO4) for 12 weeks. Brain tissues were removed to elucidate the interaction between arsenic and copper by detecting histological and ultrastructural observations, oxidative damage, inflammation and autophagy.180
