Three new metal-organic complexes derived from N,N′-bis(3-pyridinecarboxamide)-1,2-ethane and polycarboxylate ligands: Synthesis, fluorescent and electrochemical properties

► Three complexes based on 3-dpye with diverse dimensionality have been obtained. ► The complexes based on 3-dpye have been scarcely studied so far. ► Complex 3 is a 3D network with threefold interpenetrating CdSO4-like topology. ► The electrochemical and fluorescent properties of 1-3 have been reported.
