Cationic arene ruthenium(II) complexes bearing N, S chelating thiocarboxamides: Synthesis, structure, characterization and catalytic oxidation of alcohols

► New cataionic arene Ru(II) thiocarboxamides have been reported. ► Catalytic efficiency of the complex in the oxidation of alcohols was found to be good. ► Excellent conversions were obtained.
