l-Serine functionalized clays: Preparation and characterization

l-Serine derivatives were covalently immobilized onto three clays with different nature, morphology or crystallite size: K10, laponite and halloysite. The grafting was found to proceed through a bidentate mechanism with the highest efficiency for K10.50
