Studies on the characteristic and activity of low-molecular fragments from zymosan

► Zymosan was hydrolysed and fractionated to obtain water-soluble fragments A, B and C. ► These fractions are composed primarily of β-1,3-glucans. ► And have molecular weights of 8 kDa, 5 kDa and 2 kDa, respectively. ► And fragment A (molecular weight is 8 K) has the significant activity.
