One-pot synthesis of chitosan-g-(PEO-PLLA-PEO) via “click” chemistry and “SET-NRC” reaction

► N-chitosan-g-(PEO-PLLA-PEO) graft copolymer was synthesized. ► “Click” and “SET-NRC” reactions were used to modify chitosan. ► The efficiencies of coupling reactions were greater than 90%. ► Graft ratio was 43% determined by the structure of 6-azide-N-phthaloyl-chitosan.
