- The Ferrier reaction was carried out in a deep eutectic solvent.
- Conversion was complete in 10-20 minutes.
- Good to excellent yields (85-92%) were obtained.
- Moderate to good anomeric selectivity (α:β ratio: 9:1 - 7:3) was observed.
- The deep eutectic solvent can be recycled.
