Synthesis and properties of BF2- & PO2-complexes of mono meso-heterocycle substituted 25-oxasmaragdyrins and derivatives

A series of BF2- and PO2 complexes of 25-oxasamragdyrins containing five membered heterocycle such as pyrrole, thiophene and furan were synthesized and meso-pyrrole substituted BF2- complex of 25-oxasmaragdyrin was used to prepare a novel dipyrromethanyl bridged BF2-oxasmaragdyrin dyad.470
