Suspension thermal spraying of hydroxyapatite: Microstructure and in vitro behaviour

During in vitro tests, HA coatings showed no cytotoxicity towards the SAOS-2 osteoblast cell line, and surface cell proliferation was comparable with proliferation on reference polystyrene culture plates.
