Experimental investigation on the formation of Cr-containing dispersoids in an AlSi3 alloy by X-ray synchrotron radiation

Data processing allowed the authors to identify a face-centred cubic crystallographic structure for dispersoids containing Cr, which can be indicated as α-AlCrSi phase. It was also confirmed that ageing treatment does not affect their presence and does not lead to additional evolution of their structure.
