Magnetocaloric effect of Gd64Co26Al9Y1 metallic glass

► We present study of a new composition of metallic glass Gd64Co26Al9Y1. ► Magnetic, thermal and transport properties of Gd64Co26Al9Y1 were measured. ► Magnetic order was observed at TC = 108 K. ► Gd64Co26Al9Y1 shows large MCE in a broad temperature range around TC.
