Magnetoelectric performance in Ni/Pb(Zr,Ti)O3/FeCo trilayered cylindrical composites

► We studied ME effects in the Ni/PZT/Ni, FeCo/PZT/FeCo and Ni/PZT/FeCo cylinders. ► The Ni/PZT/FeCo cylinder shows an enhancement of ME coupling. ► The enhancement could be ascribed to the compressive stress on the PZT layer. ► The result is helpful for the optimal design of magnetoelectric composites.
