Crystal growth, magnetic and transport properties of single-crystal YbCuGe

► We successed to obtain a single crystal of YbCuGe. ► Antiferromagneic ordering is discovered instead of previously reported ferromagnet. ► Metallic transport properties with low electronic heat coefficient are observed. ► Gain of magnetic entropy at magnetic transition is suppressed by 30% of Rln2.
