Effect of temperature on the exchange bias in naturally oxidized NixCo1−x (x = 0.2) nanowires fabricated by electrochemical deposition technique

► Core-shell nickel-cobalt nanowires have been fabricated by electrochemical. ► An oxide layer of ∼6 nm has been developed by natural oxidation in the environment. ► The samples exhibit an exchange bias and vertical shift in magnetization below 150 K. ► Blocking occurs at 150 K, smaller than the Neel temperature of Ni-/CoO oxide outer shell.
