A novel preparation of magnetic hydroxyapatite nanotubes

► Hydroxyapatite magnetic nanotubes were replicated from polymer nanofiber. ► Magnetite nanoparticles were well embedded within the hydroxyapatite nanotubes. ► Nanotubes showed ferromagnetic behavior and excellent saturation magnetization.
