Superhydrophobic SiO2 micro-particle coatings by spray method

► The SiO2 coating with contact angle 162° and roll-off angle 6° was prepared. ► The SiO2 micro-particles form hierarchical micro-structure. ► The simple spray method was adopted to get uniform superhydrophobic coatings.
