A new biocompatible coating layer applied on titanium substrates using a modified zinc phosphatizing method

► We fabricate a biocompatible and strongly attached coating layer on titanium. ► Hydrothermal method was used for coating. ► A new phase was formed on the Ti surface. ► The biocompatibility of coated Ti was higher than non-coated Ti.
