Coastline undulations on the West Coast of Denmark: Offshore extent, relation to breaker bars and transported sediment volume

► Measured shoreline undulations extended from on-shore to off-shore between the +2 m and -5 m depth contours. ► An alongshore phase shift between the shoreline undulations and depth contours existed. ► The sediment volume transported in the longshore undulations was around 5% of the total longshore sediment transport. ► Interaction between the shoreline undulations and the main breaker bars is investigated.
