SPH modeling of solitary wave fissions over uneven bottoms

► Propagation of solitary wave over uneven bottoms was investigated using WCSPH. ► Fission processes of both non-breaking and breaking solitary waves were discussed. ► Wave profile evolution and flow fields were analyzed. ► Coefficients of wave reflection, transmission, and dissipation were calculated. ► Number of transmitted solitons was predicted, effects of step width was examined.
